Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) Medical Oxygen Plant Technology to help 500 Medical Oxygen Plants to support hospitals for Oxygen supply

Defense Research and Development Organization DRDO has decided to take an excellent step to get rid of the shortage of corona oxygen in the country. DRDO will build 500 atmospheric oxygen plants in the next three months. These oxygen plants will be built with the technology installed in Swadesi fighter aircraft Tejas. These plants will supply oxygen throughout the country.

DRDO has developed the technology of 500 medical oxygen plant (MOP) by themselves. With this technology, oxygen is supplied to the indigenous lightweight multirole combustion fighter jet, using the technology that gives oxygen to the palette sitting inside the fighter aircraft Tejas, the same technique will be made oxygen to the corona patient.

A plant can produce 1000 liters of oxygen per minute, this system can provide oxygen to 190 patients at a time.

DRDO said that 195 cylinders can be filled per day with this technology, which will supply 5 liters of oxygen to 190 Corona patients.

According to DRDO, hospitals can make oxygen inside the campus themselves with this technology, which will save them the money to go and tanker, it is also very cheap and can be made available to the patients on time.

The @DRDO_India is going to set up 500 Medical Oxygen Plants within 3 months under PM CARES Fund.
