President Pranab Mukherjee launches Swayam, Swayam Prabha a digital platform for e-education on 9th July 2017.
Swayam, Swayam Prabha is the platform of 32 DTH channels to deliver the digital courses in deep areas of India. There is launch of National Academic Depository (NAD) to facilitate online verification of certificates.
Swayam Prabha is a group of 32 DTH (Direct To Home) Channels. This service is devoted to telecast high-quality, latest and modern educational programmes on 24X7 basis using GSAT-15 satellite. On Swyam Prabha group channel air atleast four hours of new content which would be repeated five more times in a day.
