World Cities Day celebrated accross the World on 31st October

The world celebrates World Cities Day on 31st October to mark the importance of urban development. 

The main aim for this is to promote international community interest in global urbanization and contributing urban development of the world. 

The theme for this year was 'Inclusive cities, Shared Development'. 

This focuses the role of urban development and social inclusion. 

The UN General Assembly passed a resolution on December 2013 to celebrate 31st October as World Cities Day. 

The Global theme for this day is Better City, Better life and to promote urbanisation and face the challenges for the same.

The World should be united as one and work together for planned and urban development as per growing population.
