On the occasion of International Day of older persons, Delhi police has launched an application for the senior citizens to get direct help 24×7 in case of any emergency whether medical or any other.
This app was launched by the Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and Police Commissioner Alok Kumar Verma in the presence of senior officials and this app is available at the Google Play Store.
The Delhi Police will be contacted through SOS where the control room will immediately send the information to SHO and other office.
The alert will be transferred to the respective SHO and area constables after contacting through the number.
The local camps will also be organised for the elderly people who are not familiar of the technology.
The senior citizen can resister after downloading the app from play store and their beat officer’s name and mobile number will be given to them.
