Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued warning for Fani Cyclone to reach its peak on 1st May 2019 Midnight on Tuesday at Coastal Areas of Odisha, West Bengal, and Andhra Pradesh. Fani landfall expected on Friday 3rd May 2019 Afternoon at Odisha eastern coast.
Fani Cyclone is a threat for crops in Uttar Pradesh and the Bihar States. IMD department issued an advisory for farmers to take care of their crops on 1st May 2019 before the impact of Fani in North India on 2nd and 3rd May 2019.
Fani Cyclone heading towards North Western India from its origin in the Bay of Bengal with a speed of 21 km/hr.
Landfall of Fani Cyclone is expected on 3rd May 2019 Afternoon near Gopalpur in Odisha eastern coast.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is put on high alert in affected states. State agencies are on the alert to keep the communication power supplies in the region.
