New Cyber Security Policy to fight advanced cyber threats in India

During his speech on 74th Independence Day 15th August 2020 at Lal Quila (Red Fort), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said about unveiling a new cyber security policy very soon.

According to Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Within the next 1000 days, over 6 lakh villages will be connected with a fiber-optic network. Prime Minister also gave assurance for new cyber security policy."

According to Prime Minister, the participation of Rural parts of India and villages in Digital India is necessary.

According to Prime Minister of India, with the current expansion rate of expansion of optical fiber, every gram panchayat will get connected in the next 1000 days.

The Prime Minister of India also stated about basic facilities of every modern household like electricity, cooking gas, creating bank accounts for the poor or toilets in all houses, India has witnessed great progress in the mentioned field at grass root level in past six years.
