The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has launched a cyber-safe India campaign with the private sector on January 19, 2018. This campaign was launched with the aim of empowering cybersecurity in the country.
This initiative has been started by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Through this, awareness of cybercrime and capacity building in all the departments of the government will be brought to the notice of Chief Information Security Officers and Advance Line Information Technology employees.
Cyber Secure India is the first public-private partnership program in cybersecurity in which IT expertise will be used. Those who assist in this campaign include Microsoft, Intel, Wipro, Redhat and Dimension India data.
Apart from this, Knowledge partners include Deloitte and EY along with Sert Inn, NIC, NASCOM, Fido Alliance.
On this occasion, Secretary Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Law and Justice Secretary Suresh Chandra, Digital India Corporation chairman and chief executive officer Sanjiv Gupta, chief infinite Maheshwari, Microsoft India, nominated the president of Nasscom Debjani with Ghosh as Wipro and Dimension Data Officials were also present.
The main goal of the government is to make the Chief Information Security Officers and Information Technology employees aware of cybercrime and skill development in all departments.
