India Wrestler Bajrang Punia Bags A Silver Medal at World Wrestling Championship (WWC)

India wrestler Bajrang Poonia had to face defeat in the title of freestyle wrestling in the world championship. Tokuthu Otuguro of Japan defeated him in the men's 65 kg Weight Kanti final by 16-9. However, despite this defeat, he managed to make the record. 

He has become the first Indian to win two medals in this tournament. Let's say that he won the Bronze Medal in the 60kg category of freestyle wrestling in 2013. Sushil Kumar, the only gold medal in 2010 world championship held in Moscow.

Bajrang Punia has won Gold Medal in the Commonwealth Games (CWG) held in Gold Coast in Australia this year and in Asiad in Indonesia's Jakarta. 

The 24-year-old Indian wrestler got pressure at the beginning of this competition in Budapest, Hungary. Japanese Wrestler took 5 points and brought them under pressure. After this Bajrang reciprocated and took two or two points to score 4-5. After that, Takutu for two points and he got a 3 point lead. However, Bajrang gave 2 points and scored 6-7, giving the tremendous fight.

Japanese Wrestler took the name of the medal for the title 16-9. In this way, Indian Wrestler Poonia had to be satisfied with Silver Medal.
