Ballistic Missile Agni-5 4th test fired successfully from Odisha

 

 

Agni-5 fourth test conducted successfully from Abdul Kalam Island of Odisha

India successfully conducted its test-fired nuclear missile Agni-5 which has a range of around 5000 km which can cover almost China.

The missile Agni-5 launched from Abdul Kalam Island of Odisha coast on Monday around 11 am.

Agni-5, the most powerful missile and to pave way for the induction into Special Forces of Command

The missile Agni-5 launched from the mobile launcher complex-4 of the Integrated Test Range at about 1105 hrs.

This is the fourth developmental and second canesterised trial of the missile.

The missile carries the weight of around 50 tonnes and is 17 m long.

The first test was conducted on 19th April 2012, second on 15th September 2013, third on 31st January 2015.

Agni-5 is confined with the most advanced technologies incorporated in terms of navigation, guidance, warhead and engine.
