In the wake of drive to fight against corruption, people are sending emails and calls to the income tax department giving information regarding people having unaccounted assets.

The Income Tax Department has earlier launched a special cell to send the information regarding black money at email id blackmoneyinfo@incometax.gov.in
The email id was instantly activated and the income tax officers were designated to verify each and every detail regarding the channel.
The Income Tax department recently revealed that within a week of launch, the department was flooded with thousands of calls and emails.
The income Tax department is taking strict actions against the black money hoarders.
