Misbah-Ul-Haq, Pakistani test Skipper wins International Cricket Council Spirit of the Cricket Award, 2016 for organising Pakistan briefly in first spots in test ranking.
The earlier winners of the prize are Brendum McCullam (2015), Katherine Brunt (2014), Mahela Jayawardena (2013), Daniel Vettori (2012), and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (2011).
New Zealand won this award in 2004, 2009 and 2010, England in 2005 and 2006, and Sri Lanka in 2007 and 2008.
After winning the award, Misbah Ul Haq says that he feels honoured on receiving the award, it is the twilight of his career.
