Chaudhary Charan Singh was born on 23rd December 1902 in a Jat family in 1902 in village Bhadola of Ghaziabad district in Uttar Pradesh.
Chaudhary Charan Singh was a good student and received Masters of Art (MA) in 1925 and law degree in 1926 from Agra University.
Chaudhary Charan Singh had six children with wife Gayatri Devi who died in the year 2002.
At the memory of Chaudhary Charan Singh, Amausi International Airport was build naming as Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
A University was also established in his honour, naming Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
Chaudhari Charan Singh died on 29th May 1987.
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in his honour also declared 23rd December as a holiday.
