Scientists develop first biological pacemaker cells from human stem cells

The scientists have developed the first pacemaker cells from human stem cells which regulates heart beats and electrical impulses.

The human test maker cells were tested in rat hearts were shown to function as a biological pacemaker by activating the electrical impulses that activates the contraction of heart.

The scientists in a study show how pluripotent stem cells can be persuaded in 21 days to develop into pacemaker cells

These pluripotent stem cells have the potential to differentiate more than 200 different cell types that make up every tissue and organ in the body.

The researches have used a biological approach to establish a specific protocol for generating the pacemaker cells.

The test was achieved by testing different indicating molecules at different times throughout 21 days to guide the cells towards their goal.
