The President of Venezuela postpones the decision of demonetisation of pulling largest denomination bill which lead to shortages and protests.
After India, Venezuela demonetised 100 bolivar note this week and after this there was sudden shortage in the market and several protests taken place.
There were vast lines at banks, looting at scores of shops, anti-protests against demonetisation and deaths takes place.
So, the Government of Venezuela has decided to postpone the demonetisation till early January.
Since demonetisation, the citizens of Venezuela found themselves in shortage of food, gasoline and Christmas preparations in the country and indirectly suffering from economic crisis.
Around 40% of the people living in Venezuela do not have bank accounts and therefore are suffering as to how to use electronic media.
