New Telegraph Act: Aircrafts get Free Wi-Fi service during flight

 

 

Commercial Aircrafts of India to provide free Wi-Fi services in aeroplanes soon

The Central Government is working out for the amendment of Telegraph Act to enable free Wi-Fi services in aircrafts.

Till now the aircrafts were not enabled with free Wi-Fi services due to security reasons but now government has decided to soon introduce this feature in Flights.

Government to amend Telegraph Act for this service

The Government has not gave assurance as to when to enable the free Wi-Fi service but due to the demand of Wi-Fi in aircrafts it will soon launch this service in flights.

International Aircrafts using Indian airspace have been requesting the permission to allow the use of Wi-Fi in India.

By the request of International Aircrafts, the government is working on the amendment of particular legislation.
