Himachal Pradesh becomes the sixth state to achieve 100% Aadhaar saturation on the basis of the population as in the year 2015.
The other five states which have received 100% Aadhaar Saturation are Delhi, Telangana, Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh.
Himachal Pradesh is a small state of hills which have generated 72, 52, 880 residents where all the people living in the state have Aadhaar Cards.
In order to maintain this achievement in future, the Government of Himachal Pradesh has made several arrangements under which services of Anganwadi workers and health services will be taken to cover different age groups.
In Himachal Pradesh, around 240 Permanent Enrolment Centers are operational for updating the enrolment activity and 22 Aadhaar Mobile Vans have been set up to check the leftover people or elderly people of the state which have not issued Aadhaar Card.
