Digital Payments: Payment at Petrol pumps via Aadhar Card number
Tata Consultancy Services has developed a new application which will help to make payment at petrol pumps by just providing Aadhaar Card number.
The app downloaded in mobile phone will be linked to Aadhaar-check machines.
Provide fingerprint to avail to this service
After the check, Aadhaar connected banks will be linked and the amount will be transferred to petrol pumps’ bank account.
This process works by putting the fingerprint and within seconds the payment is done to the petrol pumps’ account
This will help the people who are not much sure and believes that online payments is not secure.
The consumers who are not smart enough to digital media can avail to this service as it is safe and secure.
Earlier, government has also provided discounts on buying petrol through digital media of 0.75%.
