Government of India to launch toll free number 14444 to educate and provide support regarding digital payments.
Government has already launched a TV channel DigiShala and an online platform ‘cashless India’ for the promotion of digital payments.
Cash Mukt Bharat Abhiyan helpline number 14444 to be available and people can seek information regarding digital transactions.
The helpline will assist people at the first level to zero on the option which is most suitable for them depending on the availability of featured phone, Aadhar card number or not and bank account of the person.
After demonetisation of 500 and 1000 notes, the government is now and then launching various initiatives to promote digital transactions in the country.
