Note Ban: Sting operation in 500 banks to expose Cash Scam
PM Narendra Modi keeping check on cash scam in 500 banks, culprit executives, managers charged for cash shortages in ATM and banks
The government is conducting sting operation on cash scam in around 500 banks as directed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The CDs of sting operations has been sent to Finance Ministry and ministry will take proper actions against the banks.
There is lack of new currency available with the economy due to the fraudulent activities of the bank employees and the brokers.
Both public and private banks are under the sting operation conducted
The Manager of Axis Bank Branch located in Delhi Shobhit Gupta is arrested of cash scam.
A number of bank officials have been arrested and many of them have been suspended.
Recently, Narendra Modi while addressing a parivartan rally in Gujarat stated that whoever is involved in cash scam will be punished.
