NITI Aayog has proposed new scheme to promote digital payments in the country which must be adopted at every part of the country.
NITI Aayog has requested the non-profit company NPCI to launch a new scheme to incentivise digital payments.
NPCI has proposed new initiatives to promote digital payments so that the economy can move towards digital payments.
The scheme will be eligible at two levels of incentive amounts available that is, weekly lucky draw of the transactions.
The focus will be on the poor people while designing the schemes through digital payments through USSD, AEPS, UPI through Rupay Debit card.
All the transactions made on the POS machines installed at their locations will also be considered.
It will be applicable to those who made digital payments after 8th November 2016.
