Andhra Pradesh issues AP Purse mobile banking app on Google play
Andhra Pradesh government launches mobile app containing 13 mobile banking and 15 mobile wallets named as AP Purse
AP Purse is a platform to help people of the state to move to cashless payments using mobile wallets.
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu wants to make Andhra Pradesh the first state in India to completely switch to digital transactions.
The Government has tied up with 15 mobile wallets like Paytm, MobiKwik, Freecharge, Airtel Money, Vodafone-m-pesa and others under this AP Purse app.
The AP Purse app available free at Google Play store and the user simply needs to register the mobile number and name
The government is also introducing training agents to provide training to the people to promote digital banking and in return government will pay incentives to them.
The training agents will be the engineering students to help them earn while training.
The government will also recognise the services of the colleagues and the students at the time of crisis.
