Ole’s theory was the observance of how the timings of Jupiter’s moon eclipses has changed the depending on its distance from the Earth.
Danish Astronomer’s theory was supported by all the other astronomers which includes Isaac Newton and Edmond Halley.

Romer has also achieved in the invention of the mercury thermometer in the year 1709 which inspired the Daniel Gabreil Fahrenheit to invent the temperature scale.
