The 12th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL-2019) was played from 23rd March 2019 to 12th May 2019.

IPL-2019 witnessed a total of 8 teams have participated in the event. The event last for 48 days and total of 60 matches played in the whole tournament.

Mumbai Indians won the 4th IPL title after defeating Chennai Super Kings by 1 run at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

Key Records Created In IPL-2019

Suresh Raina became the first batsman to make 5,000 runs in the IPL.

Virat Kohli from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) became the first batsman to score 5,000 runs in IPL for one team.

Chris Gayle became the first batsman to hit 300 sixes in the IPL.

Imran Tahir had become the highest wicket-taker overseas leg-spinner in IPL history.
