Objectives of James Webb Space Telescope replace Hubble Telescope

NASA successfully achieves goals of James Webb Space Telescope

NASA achieves the milestones of James Web Space Telescope as its primary mirrors are complete, NASA is starting the preliminary testing.

The James Web Space Telescope aims to replace the Hubble Telescope as JWST features are larger and segmented in 6.5 meter diameter in primary mirror.

James Webb Space Telescope has mainly four major missions

JWST mission has mainly four goals-to search for light from the stars and galaxies that forms the Universe after Bing Bang, to study the formation of galaxies, to study the formation of stars and to study the planetary systems and origins of life.

The instruments of JWST did not measures visible like Hubble Telescope but has much greater capacity to perform infrared technology.

JWST also aims to gather useful information on the dimming light from the star KIC 8462852.
