Flipkart Binny Bansal, Sachin Bansal win TIME Asian of year 2016
The founders of Flipkart Binny Bansal and Sachin Bansal is chosen at the TIME Magazine’s ‘Asian of the year 2016’
Both have been chosen by Straits times of Singapore as a part of group known as ‘the Disruptors’.
The other disruptors have been awarded to the founders of Tencent, Go-Jek, Grab and Razer.
TIME Magazine also puts Binny and Sachin Bansal as 100 most influencial people of the World
Earlier this year, TIME Magazine has put Binny and Sachin Bansal in 100 most influential people of the World.
In the 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wins the Award of Asian of the year 2014.
Flipkart has also been awarded as the ‘E-Commerce company of the year’ by the Business World Group in association with Nielsen.
The ‘Asian of the year’ award is presented to those who have contributed in improving lives of people at home or in wider region.
