Simulatla Awasiya Vidyalaya School in Jamui which is affiliated to Bihar Board is producing toppers every year from long.
In 2018-2019 10th board examination students from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya have been placed in the top 5 ranks. This year, only 16 toppers out of top 10 top 18 are from this school.
Simulatla Awasiya Vidyalaya school provides education from 6th to 12th class for which enrollment occurs in the 6th class. For this, every year a state level competition examination is organized on the basis of which 60 students are selected.
Simulatla Awasiya Vidyalaya is an English medium school, but the competitive examination is organized in English as well as in Hindi. There are no fees for the examination.
Bihar state topper Sawan Raj Bharti scored 486 marks out of 500 and has scored 97.2 percent marks. A close second is Ronit Raj who has scored 483 marks resulting in 96.6 percent. The top three spots is rounded off by Priyanshu Raj who has scored 96.2% marks by scoring 481 out of 500 marks.
The fourth rank is shared by three students who are all from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya - Adarsh Ranjan, Aditya Raj, and Praveen. All three have scored 480 marks and have secured 96 percent marks in 10th board exam.
The fifth rank is shared by two students - Harsh Kumar and Roshan Kumar - who are both from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya and have scored 479 marks and 95.8 percent marks
