NITI Aayog give Rs.10 per person to DM promoting digital payments

 

 

NITI Aayog declares to provide incentive of Rs.10 per citizen to District Magistrate for every 2 transactions done through digital media

NITI Aayog has taken the step to promote cashless transactions done through digital media.

NITI Aayog to provide Rs.5 lakh for every district in India to promote digital payments and create awareness for the same.

Incentives to be provided to DM (Districts Magistrates) to make payments through digital media

Incentives will be used to create awareness, organise camps and impart training to ensure that people use digital payments.

NITI Aayog has also asked the district collectors across India to make payments through digital media.

Incentive to the districts will also provide logistics support to make transactions at grass-root level.

For this campaign, top 15 districts and top 50 panchayats have been recognised.
