India and Maldives have signed three key agreements on visa facilitation for diplomatic and official passport holders, development cooperation and renewable energy.
Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Foreign Minister of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid had a bilateral talk on 18th March 2019 in the Maldives.
India's MEA Sushma Swaraj is on an official visit to the Maldives nation from March 17th March to 18th March 2019.
1. Agreement on the exemption from visa requirement for holders of diplomatic and official passports.
2. Memorandum of Understanding regarding Indian grant assistance for the implementation of high impact community development projects through local bodies.
3. Memorandum of Understanding on collaboration in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
