Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina honour Indian Army soldier martyred at Bangladesh Liberation War 1971
Bangladesh to honour 1668 members of Indian Army who have been martyred at Bangladesh Liberation War by PM of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina at visit to India.
Sheikh Hasina to visit India on 18th December on a two-day visit and provide honour to the family members of the martyred soldiers.
PM Sheikh Hasina will provide Rs.5 lakh to each family of martyred soldier
Bangladesh Ministry has asked India to recognise the family of the soldiers who have ben martyred at the war in 1971.
India supported Bangladesh to separate them from Pakistan and then Bangladesh finally separated on 16th December 1971.
Former President Indira Gandhi supported Bangladesh and decided to go on war with Pakistan to fight for Bangladesh.
Many of the soldiers were killed during the war.
