Mayank Agarwal nickname 'Monkas' is an inspiring young Indian international cricketer who plays as a right-handed opening batsman for Karnataka State Cricket Team.
Mayank Agarwal was born on 16 February 1991 (27-year-old) in Bangalore, Karnataka. He took education from Bishop Cotton Boys' School and Jain University in Bangalore.
Mayank Agarwal made his international debut for the India cricket team on 26th December 2018 against Australia at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
Mayank Agarwal started his domestic career playing in the T20 format in the year 2010, He was the leading run-scorer for Inia in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup,
Mayank Agarwal made his IPL debut playing under Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vs Kochi Tuskers Kerala at Nehru Stadium on 9th April 2011. He played under RCB banner for 3 years (2011–2013).
Mayank Agarwal played for Delhi Daredevils from 2014 to 2016 and for Rising Pune Supergiants in the year 2017. He is now a part of Kings XI Punjab since 2018. He played a total of 64 IPL matches where he scored 938 runs in 59 innings with 68 runs of highest score.
Mayank Agarwal has till date has played 2 International test matches for India against Australia where he scored 195 runs in 3 innings. His highest score was 77 runs.
