The first National Workshop on Explosives Detection was organised at High Energy Materials Research Laboratory Pune in Maharastra. It is a two-day event scheduled to held from 14th December to 15th December 2018.
The National Workshop on Explosives Detection aims to provide a platform to scientists, technocrats and users to share knowledge, experience and update information on the technological advancements made in the recent past. It focuses to evolve the roadmap for futuristic development of detection technologies.
The National Workshop on Explosives Detection saw the participation of a total of 200 delegates from different DRDO labs, Army, CRPF, CISF, Police, Academic Institutes, Industry, and other Security agencies.
The National Workshop on Explosives Detection witnessed a demonstration of a trace explosive detection device, OPX-Revelator, developed by HEMRL was unveiled by the chief guest Shri Atul Chandra Kulkarni.
The OPX Revelator is a portable, miniaturized, an electronic detector capable of detecting almost all the explosives widely used by antisocial elements and in Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
