India and Armenia MoU on the joint issue of postage stamps: Details, Aim, Highlights

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 7th December 2018, has approved Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Armenia on the joint issue of postage stamps.

The MoU was signed in June 2018 between Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications and the National Postal Operator of Armenia (“HayPost” CJSC).

The Theme of the joint postage stamps on India-Armenia was: “Dence”. The Joint stamps were released in August 2018.

The Commemorative Postage Stamps depict “Manipuri Dance” of India and “HovArek Dance” of Armenia.
