South India Bank launches contactless debit card which is secure as it does not leave cardholder possession.
Contactless card uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology which enables the customers to use their card as a normal CHIP card to transact in ‘contact’ mode.
With this move, South Indian Bank believes that contactless technology will be a big step in digital banking in the country.
The special feature of this contactless debit card is that it is quick and easy to make contactless payments to enhance the shopping experience.
The merchant enters the amount in POS terminal and then the customer needs to swipe the card in the terminal and the payments is being processed fast and quick.
