The four-day International conference on bears is being held in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It is a four-day event that is scheduled to be held from 3rd Dec till 6th December 2018.
The International conference on bears is believed to witness participation from over 80 delegates from 11 countries across the world like international delegates from the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, France, Germany, Demark, the Netherlands, Vietnam etc. Conservationists, Zoo-keepers and several Indian Zoos are also attending the conference.
The International conference on bears primarily focused on bear care, wildlife conservation, and human-wildlife conflict mitigation.
The International conference on bears is also aimed at sharing knowledge on the principles of the welfare of bears and other wild animals in zoos, sanctuaries and rescue centers.
The International conference on bears has been Hosted by Wildlife SOS in collaboration with Bear Care Group from the US and Canada.
