West Bengal Plans Interactive App For Restaurants To Boost Tourism: Details, Features, Aim, Highlights
The West Bengal Tourism Department has planned to launch an interactive mobile app in December 2018, which will list all the good restaurants in Kolkata and other places across the West Bengal.
The initiative proposed comes as tourists visit the Department website for locating restaurants.
The restaurants already listed on the WB Tourism Department's website (www.wbtdcl.com) will find a place in the app. More restaurants will be added gradually. The app will also have provisions for customers to share their experiences.
The WB Tourism Department's will also rate the restaurants with stars. A valid trade license is a primary requirement. Moreover, the quality of food, other factors like health-friendly environment, and fire-fighting arrangements, ambiance, hospitality will be taken into account.
