The Ministry of Coal adopts Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India initiative to convert all the paper work and the documents into digital format.
Coal Ministry has implemented e-office this moth completely and is now working on the entire file to convert electronically.
The Minister of State for Coal, Power New and Renewable enrgy and Mines, MR. Piyush Goyal informed this at the Lok Sabha meeting.
Shri Goyal stated that digitalisation process has brought transparency and efficiency in the working of the ministry.
Goyal further added that this would facilitate quick processing and instant movement of files which would result in quick decision making.
Digitalisation will enable quick recovery of files and prevent misplacing of files.
