Tamil writer K Subhash passes away on 23 Nov 2016 Kidney failure

 

 

Tamil writer-director K. Subhaash passes away on Wednesday 23rd November 2016 at SRM hospital

Subhash was suffering from kidney failure and was on dialysis for the last few years.

Subhaash was well known for penning ‘Chennai Express’ starring by Shah Rukh Khan.

Subhash directed one hindi film starring Ajay Devgan, Esha Deol, Akshay Kumar

Subhaash started his career as an assistant to Mani Ratnam in 1987 Tamil film Nayagan and later he made a directorial debut with Prabhu starrer Kaliyugam.

In the year 1990, he directed the film ‘Sathriyana’ which was a blockbuster which earned him immense popularity.

Subhaash directed 20 films which includes one Indian film starring Ajay Devgan, Esha Deol, Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta.

He was the writer of Houseful 3, Entertainment and Sunday.
