Note Ban: Time Extension for old Rs 500 note at National Highways

 

 

Note Ban: Rs.500 note accepted at National Highways till 15th December 2016

The transport Ministry has decided to accept note of Rs.500 as toll tax till 15th December 2016.

After demonetisation the Government of India has provided certain exemptions for the inconvenience of the period.

Other places Hospitals, petrol pumps etc. will not accept Rs.500 and Rs.1000 note

It was declared that Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes will be accepted at Government Hospitals, booking of Railway tickets and Aeroplane tickets and at petrol pumps.

The exemption was provided till 24th November 2016 which means that till this date these authority will not deny to accept 500 and 1000 denomination note.

But transport authority of India has declared that National Highways will accept Rs.500 notes as Toll Charge till 15th December even after the exemption.
