The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural development tospent Rs.21,000 crore for farmers to help them to sow winter crops like wheat.
NABARD will distribute money to the farm cooperatives for onward making payments to the farmers.
In the current Rabi season farmers are facing problems due to demonetisation so the Government of India has provided those facility to the farmers so that they can sow the crops easily.
This move by the Government would help the farmers who were facing crisis or left with very little cash to buy seeds and fertilisers for winter crops.
