Diwali Deepotsava Festival Celebrations Held In Ayodhya: Details, Celebrations Highlights

Diwali Deepotsava festival, lighting earthen lamps, held with the presentation of Ram Leela by a cultural troupe from Laos in the Vivekanand auditorium of the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.

Diwali Deepotsava festival was a three-day long event scheduled to be organised from 4th November 2018 to 6th November 2018.

In a special event, an arrangement of lighting 3 lakh earthen lamps or Diyas was done on 6th November 2018

Diwali Deepotsava saw artist Sudarshan Patnaik making beautiful art 40 foot X 40-foot of Lord Ram on the sand. 

The Ram Bazar was also set up with an exhibition of rare items related to Lord Rama along with Craft grams and things related to Ram Katha was also displayed. 

Diwali Deepotsava function was attended by Governor Ram Naik, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries.

The main attraction to this Diwali Deepotsava celebrations witnessed the presence of First Lady of South Korea Kim Jung-sook, the wife of South Korean president Moon Jae-in as a chief guest on 6th November 2018. She also visited Sarayu river coast.

Diwali Deepotsava was organised in a tight-pact security for VIPs, VVIPs by 35,000 policemen.
