India conduct Agni-II test of ballistic missile from Odisha Coast

 

 

India successfully conducted test for Agni-II ballistic missile from a test range of Odisha coast

This surface-to-surface missile is powered by solid propellants which can hit a target for 700 km away and is equipped with high-level navigation system.

The high-level navigation system ensures that it reaches a target with a high degree of accuracy and precision.

The test fire launched from the mobile launcher from launch pad-4 of the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Abdul Kalam Island (Wheeler Island)

 Immediate range single stage-missile by the Indian Army by strategic forces command.

The launch aims to consolidate operational readiness as a periodic training activity.

The course of launch was tracked by sophisticated radars, telemetry observation systems, electro-optic instruments and naval ships.
