RBI clears rumors about Rs.10 coin with and without Rs symbole

 

 

Reserve Bank of India clears rumors Rs.10 denomination coin. Coin is valid with and without rupee symbole

The 10 rupees coin which has rupee sign or not is not a fake coin and is valid, declared by RBI.

The coins which contains 10 or 15 lines both the coins are original but not fake.

Rumour of fake coin spread through a watsapp message

The rumours were spread for the fake coins but RBI confirmed that after 2011, rupee sign has been introduced in the coin so both the coins are valid.

Reports have been found that shopkeepers and the owners were not accepting the coin after a watsapp message shared widely claimed that it is fake.

According to RBI, as 10 rupee coin is in circulation so there it is possible that the shape features etc. must be different as several changes are made while issuing.

RBI urged people to not believe in such rumours and accept Rs.10 coin.
