Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted the National flag and unveiling the plaque to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the formation of Azad Hind Government or Indian National Army (INA) by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on 21st October 2018 at the Red Fort, New Delhi.

The Azad Hind Government was founded on 21st October 1943, got revolutionalized by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose who was the leader of Azad Hind Government and also the Head of State of this Provisional Indian Government-in-exile.
The Azad Hind Government was India's first independent government although, existed for a shorter time.
Subhash Chandra Bose and Rash Behari Bose launched the Indian Independence League and the Indian National Army (INA), also called Azad Hind Fauj, at Singapore in 1943.
