Odisha Government has launched a new welfare scheme 'Nirman Kusuma Yojna' to help construction working laborers children. It as launched by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on 6th October 2018 in Bhubaneshwar.
The 'Nirman Kusuma Yojna' scheme will provide financial assistance to the children of the construction workers for their technical education in the Odisha state which will help to fulfill their dreams.
Under the 'Nirman Kusuma Yojna' scheme, eligible beneficiaries will get the maximum amount of Rs 23,600 for ITI education under Nirman Kusum scheme, Rs 26,300 will be provided for construction workers’ children to pursue diploma education in state-run technical institutions.
As per the officials, the financial aid of total Rs 1.09 crore is being deposited directly at bank accounts of 1,878 beneficiaries for the 2018-19 academic session.
