PM Narendra Modi inaugurated LNG terminal & Pipeline Projects in Gujarat: Details, Highlights

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 30th September 2018 has inaugurated a series of development projects including LNG terminal at Mundra port, Anjar - Mundra Port Gas Transmission Project and Palanpur- Pali- Badmer Gas Pipeline Project in Gujarat.

PM Narendra Modi on the occasion said the natural gas supply from Mundra to Anjar will boost the industrialization in Kutch region. 

PM Narendra Mod proclaimed that now LNG will reach to Pali and Badmer in East Rajasthan through Palanpur- Pali Badmer Gas Pipeline project. He said Gujarat is emerging as LNG hub of the country. 

PM Modi also added the government is committed to providing LNG to Punjab and other states through the pipeline for the production of Urea. 

PM Modi inaugurated six new projects of Amul dairy set up at the total cost of 1120 crore rupees. These include the state of art chocolate plant of Amul dairy, a take-home ration plant with a capacity of 600 tonnes per day and a ready-to-use therapeutic food plant with a monthly capacity of 600 tonnes. 

PM Modi also launched the incubation center cum centre of excellence in food processing for promoting entrepreneurs and startup. The Prime Minister also launched Mujkuva Solar Energy Cooperative Group of 11 farmers which is aimed to double the farmers' income by selling the surplus electricity to the power company. 

PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of first dairy plant of Amul at Kolkata in West Bengal through video conferencing. 

PM Narendra Modi also dedicated the museum on the life and work of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajkot this evening.
