IT Ministry Ravi Shankar Prasad launches Centre of Excellence for Data Analytics 'CEDA': Details, Aim, Purpose, Highlights

Union Information Technology Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on 28th September 2018, has launched Centre of Excellence for Data Analytics (CEDA) in New Delhi.

The Centre of Excellence for Data Analytics (CEDA) has been set up by the technology backbone of the government, the National Informatics Centre (NIC), in a joint initiative with National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI)

The Centre of Excellence for Data Analytics (CEDA) will help in fast-tracking the adoption of advanced analytics in government.

The CEDA has been created to support government departments to unlock the hidden potential of the data that they are generating as a part of the governance processes, and use it to improve the overall governance.

The CEDA will provide world-class data analytics services to the Government. Besides creating the analytics solutions for the government departments, CEDA would also focus on training and enabling the departments to do self-service analytics.
