Shaktikant das Indelible mark system to start from today 15 November 2016

Government has taken new step to arrange crowd in banks all over the country due to 500 and 1000 denomination note ban.

Economic Affairs Secretary stated that the person exchanging the notes from the banks would be marked on thumb with indelible ink to reduce the crowd and provide new notes to everyone.

The mark on the thumb would act as a proof that the person has withdrawn or exchange the old notes with new notes

From today 15th November 2016 the indelible ink system starts at all the banks.

Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikant Das urged the religious temples to deposit the small denomination currency with the banks and exchange it with big currency notes to avoid the inefficiency of small currency in the economy.

Micro ATM is introduced by the banks to reduce the crowd, simply accountholder can fill Green Channel Form and with the use of Debit or credit card user can avail this facility.
