Fight Against Corruption: Rs 500 note features, availability

 

 

Rs.500 new note issued by Reserve Bank of India in Madhya Pradesh, expected to available in 2-3 days all major bank branches over country

After the circulation of Rs.2000 note, Rs.500 note has been issued by the banks of Madhya Pradesh in Bhopal.

Reserve Bank of India has released Rs.500 note to the banks of Madhya Pradesh and is expected to slowly and gradually released to other states of the country.

The colour of 500 denomination note is stone grey with the image of Mahatma Gandhi and Red Fort at the back.

The Ashoka Emblem has been shifted towards right side of the note and the denomination numeral is in devnagri.

Windowed security thread changes from green to blue when the note is tilted.

Reserve Bank of India has earlier released Rs.2000 note and after three days RBI is now releasing Rs.500 note at the banks.
