India to hold the eighth edition of Conference of Parties (COP7) under World Health Organisation Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) in Geneva, Switzerland in 2018.
FCTC is the World’s biggest convention Framework against anti-tobacco policies.
The Seventh edition of Conference of Parties was held in India for the first time at Greater Noida which concluded today.
In this conference 1,800 delegates from 180 countries along with the observers in official relations with WHO FCTC Secretariat in Geneva.
Conference of parties elect the members at each session of President and five vice-president.
Each officer represents the region of World Health Organisation which constitutes the Bureau of Conference of Parties.
