Finance Minister assures No Salt Shortage, urged people not panic

 

 

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced that there is enough quantity of Salt present in the country, rumour of Salt shortage

There was a rumour that spread all around the country especially in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Punjab that due to shortage of Salt its prices will rise to Rs.300.

Currently, the price of Salt is around Rs.18 but due to the rumour it has been sold at Rs.200

The rumour spread enormously and the people all around bought sacks of salt from the market.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley dismissed the rumour about shortage of salt and stated it as ‘concocted Rumours’ and stated that there is adequate amount of salt present in the country.

The Commerce and Industry also dismissed the rumours of shortage of salt.
